“The Moon” is an endless animation using The Symbolism of the Tarot by P. D. Ouspensky as a source text. Like the work’s symbols that have lost their context, the words of its story are given new valences by the system that creates the text of “The Moon.” This generative system uses a context-free grammar drawn from the book’s language, along with some variations that create sequences between dialogues.

To interact with “The Moon,” click on the drawings when they enter the scene. Clicking on the creatures will generate new sections of dialogue. Clicking on the scenery will change the scenery.
